Liz Seaver is singer-songwriter from Skerries, Co.Dublin, Ireland with a style varying from acoustic to pop/rock. Liz has self-released two independent albums; ‘Til The Day Fades In (2005) and Turbulent Bliss (2013).

Supporting many Irish acts over the years, Liz has opened up for Mundy, Paddy Casey, Damien Dempsey, The Hothouse Flowers, Walking On Cars, Delorentos, Ham Sandwich to name a few. Most notably Liz embarked on a tour of Ireland in 2014/15 playing support to the legendary Jack Lukeman (Jack L), playing venues from the intimate DeBarra’s in Clonakilty to the impressive National Concert Hall Dublin.

In 2013 Liz took part in RTE’s television show The Hit where her song ‘Somebody Like Me’ was chosen and released by Samantha Mumba, reaching the final of the competition and also hitting number 5 in the Irish charts.

Turbulent Bliss, Liz’s second album was well received with positive reviews from publications like Hotpress, The Irish Times and The Irish Independent. She has performed live on John Creedon’s RTE Radio show and on TG4’s television music show POP4 also. Liz released two singles from the album In Between You and Me and Inside Out. On release, In Between You and Me reached number 4 in the Irish singer-songwriter chart and received a lot of national radio play.

Liz’s influences musically vary from Kate Bush, Tori Amos, The Foo Fighters, The Pixies, Gemma Hayes to PJ Harvey. Liz along with her band comprising of Ed Scanlan on lead guitar and vocals, Ronan O’Hanlon on drums and vocals and Stephen Farrell on Bass guitar, are currently gigging and working on new material for a future release. Liz is experimenting with a new heavier, grungier sound still keeping her catchy melodies at the forefront and is excited by the new music scene that is opening up in Dublin at the moment with the likes of Fangclub, Longtail and The Vulpynes leading the way.
